ABOUT THE SONG
The new release of the day, “Subject Line:” is from the upcoming album Title — a playful, heartfelt song about love, hope, and finding rhythm in the everyday. It features an improvised piano performance — raw, expressive, and spontaneous — as I’ve been spending a lot more time behind the keys lately. Piano was the first instrument I ever became disciplined on… and then, undisciplined on. (Maybe vice versa — or maybe that’s just jazz.)
Like the lyrics say, “It’s about love, it’s about hope, it’s about scope — all the above.” The song blurs the line between message and melody, between email subject and emotional subject. It’s introspective, but it doesn’t take itself too seriously.
From the opening line, “Subject line: About this song…” to the final refrain, “Sing along,” it’s a reminder that sometimes the best way to communicate — or to connect — is simply to hit send and let the music do the talking.
So check your inbox — and your heart — because this “Subject Line” might be for you. 💌🎶
