[Intro]
Running on adrenaline and ash
(No food. No cash)
[Verse 1]
Another bomb
(Explodes)
Wonder how come
(Life erodes)
[Chorus]
Running on adrenaline and ash
(No food. No cash)
All day and every night
(Hope to live to see the light)
[Bridge]
Ash and adrenaline
(Again and again and again)
Adrenaline and ash
(Surely this must pass)
[Verse 2]
Tapped our phones
(All our prone)
Under watching drones
(… never alone)
[Chorus]
Running on adrenaline and ash
(No food. No cash)
All day and every night
(Hope to live to see the light)
[Bridge]
Ash and adrenaline
(Again and again and again)
Adrenaline and ash
(Surely this must pass)
[Chorus]
Running on adrenaline and ash
(No food. No cash)
All day and every night
(Hope to live to see the light)
[Outro]
Adrenaline and ash
(Surely this must pass)
Ash and adrenaline
(Again and again and again)
Bombing the babies
(Religious crazies)
Killing our ladies
(Zionist zealots)
Christian munitions
(Think I’m gonna crash)
Adrenaline and ash
ABOUT THE SONG
This song was inspired by a Palestinian civil defense ambulance driver. During the cease fire, he said he had been running on adrenaline and ash for the last two years during the genocide in Gaza.
A Palestinian Civil Defense ambulance driver is a first responder who provides emergency and rescue services, working in coordination with other humanitarian organizations like the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) to transport the wounded and sick, often under extremely dangerous conditions in conflict zones like Gaza and the West Bank.
