[Intro]
Just the facts
(Slingin’ axe)

[Verse 1]
Today is the day
To come out and play
Search…
On any porch

[Chorus]
Just the facts
(Slingin’ axe)
Ohh, the music
Six strings brings

[Bridge]
Give it a whack
(Slingin’ axe)

[Verse 2]
Hey, what do you say
Come over and play
The remedy…
A melody

[Chorus 2]
Come on back
(Slingin’ axe)
Ohh, the music
Six strings brings

[Bridge]

[Chorus 2]

[Outro]
Bring it on back
(Slingin’ axe)
Come on… relax
(Swing, swing, swing)
Sling an axe

ABOUT THE SONG

Today’s new release was written and performed live from my porch in celebration of International Play Music on the Porch Day. Using my favorite acoustic/electric guitar, I wanted to capture the simple joy of stepping outside, sharing sound, and inviting anyone within earshot to join in. The song is an open invitation — a reminder that music doesn’t need a stage, just a porch, a guitar, and the will to play.
