[Intro]
(I’m thinkin’…)
Gulp it up
(In case we don’t live agin’)
[Verse 1]
Ah, to strive
… (to stay alive)
To thirst
… (for life’s outburst)
[Bridge]
What’s up?
[Chorus]
(I’m thinkin’…)
Gulp it up
(In case we don’t live agin’)
I’m drinkin’
(Life up)
[Bridge]
Before prime time
(Is in decline)
[Verse 2]
Oh, to arrive
… (and feel alive)
An outburst
… (to quench our thirst)
[Bridge]
What’s up?
[Chorus]
[Bridge]
Before the time of “I’m”
(A muted mime)
[Chorus]
[Outro]
Before… ‘for the sinkin’
(Starts sinkin’ in)
At dawn’s daylight
(Gonna do it agin’)
Cherish every moment
(As it gets spent)
ABOUT THE SONG
The new release of the day, “Gulp,” is all about loving life. It’s a psychedelic funk experiment built on the pulse of an Ibanez guitar running through a Vox auto-wah and tube amp, layered with organ and piano textures from a Kurzweil, and fused into the dreamy swirl of a miniNova synth.
The track is an ode to the thrill of being alive — to drink in every moment before it slips away.
