[Intro]
Arise, Sir Loin of Beef!
(In the night of day)

[Bridge]
By the power
(Stolen from our are)
I, King,
(Dumb-ling)
Knight thee
(Cloaked in hypocrisy)

[Refrain]
Arise, Sir Loin of Beef!
(In the night of day)
Arise, Earl of Cloves
(Does logic give way)
Arise, Duke of Brittingham
(I think… I am)
Arise, Baron of Munchausen
(The few… the chosen)

[Bridge]
By the power
(Stolen from democracy)
I, King,
(Of nothing)
Knight thee
(In the name of hypocrisy)

[Refrain]
Arise, Sir Loin of Beef!
(In the night of day)
Arise, Earl of Cloves
(Does logic give way)
Arise, Duke of Brittingham
(I think… I am)
Arise, Baron of Munchausen
(The few… the chosen)
Askew of reality
(Really… a tragedy)

[Outro]
The usurped power
(Was our “are”)
The King…
(Knew nothing)
In the dark of knight
(Spreading fear and fright)
While wearing no clothes
(No clothes and no clues)
No surprise… Arise
(Sir Loin of Beef!)
King of grief
(No surprise…) Arise!
(Sir Loin of Beef!)
King of grief

ABOUT THE SONG
The Bugs Bunny quote is “Arise, Sir Loin of Beef!” from the 1949 cartoon Rabbit Hood. In the scene, Bugs Bunny, disguised as the king, is “knighting” the Sheriff of Nottingham and gives him a series of silly titles, all of which are puns on food or other common phrases.

Arise, Sir Loin of Beef!
Arise, Earl of Cloves
Arise, Duke of Brittingham
Arise, Baron of Munchausen
