Last Minute Jam Band at Dobbs, South Street, Philly

LYRICS
Why don’t we all praise God
At least a little

Though I don’t really like to use the word
Thanks for putting the talent on Earth

Please give me guitar…. give me drums…
Please give me management that can count some sums

Maybe Greg Davis on the guitar
… George Manney on drums
We’ll let Stanton count the sums
(Oh, yeah! Bring on the Revue with Bob Beru, too)

Kurrey can create the tune
The clapping keeping time
Debbi Calton introduces the band
Hey! With Michael Tearson lending a hand

Why don’t we all praise God
At least a little

Though I don’t really like to use the word
Thanks for putting the talent on Earth

Please give me guitar…. give me drums
Please give me management that can count some sums

Maybe Allen James on the guitar
Leaving space… for Garry Lee on bass
Peace Creeps and the Preferred Few,
Nicky Sbaffoni, Terence Donnelly,
More than I can ask for… how about you?

And, then…
I come to learn, Fern…
Fern will take us home.

Take us home
