LYRICS
Oh noooooo!
OONO
The damage age damage
Age damage Damn age
The damage of age
Oh nooooooooooo!
OONO
Worse than a Yoko to the Beatles
Oh, no
One two many free radical for us all
Oh, no
One too many free radical for us all
The dismay of decay
Don’t want to fade away
Fade away
Worse than a larva attack of beetles
Snakeoil salesman are just weasels
Damn us from the animal kingdom
Longevity travesty of me
… and, it’s getting old
Foretold
… getting old
ABOUT THIS SONG
The free radical theory of aging (FRTA) states that organisms age because cells accumulate free radical damage over time. A free radical is any atom or molecule that has a single unpaired electron in an outer shell. Strictly speaking, the free radical theory is only concerned with free radicals such as superoxide ( O2– ), but it has since been expanded to encompass oxidative damage from other reactive oxygen species such as hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), or peroxynitrite (OONO–)
