LYRICS
Am I all alone?
Prone to ozone
Hold the phone…
I’m not alone
Don’t breathe
Grieve
Only way to relieve
don’t breathe!
Hold your breath
’till you turn blue
Hold your breath
It’s all you can do
Tropospheric
Sick, sick, sick
No singing songs
Damage the lungs
Damage prolongs
Swan song sung
In the “Ohh!” zone
ABOUT THE SONG
Q: Do you know what are two of the most dangerous exposures for children and the elderly?
A: Fresh air and sunshine
On days like today, do not go out and play. The sun can damage your skin and cause cancer.
Sunshine is also part of a deadly reaction. When combined with heat and volatile gases, ultraviolet light causes a deadly reaction by creating tropospheric ozone.
The dangerous ozone (O3) is created when vehicle (and other) exhaust is not completely combusted. Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in the exhaust react to temperature and sunlight creating tropospheric ozone (O3).
The ozone in the air can cause permanent damage to your respiratory and immune systems.
