Time Dilation

[Intro]
The acceleration rate
(Has gone irate)
The cost of the primate
(On the climate)

[Verse 1]
The future
Is getting nearer
I’m not sure
It could get any clearer

[Chorus]
Time dilation
(Sensation)
Time compression
(Shrinking duration)

[Bridge]
[Instrumental, Guitar Solo]
My relativity
To relativity

[Bridge]
[Instrumental, Violin Solo]
The acceleration rate
(Has gone irate)
The cost of the primate
(On the climate)

[Verse 2]
Is time running down
(Down, down, down)
All we seem to do…
Is run around
(Round and round)

[Chorus]
Time dilation
(Sensation)
Time compression
(Shrinking duration)

[Bridge]
The acceleration rate
(Has gone irate)
The cost of the primate
(On the climate)

[Outro]
My relativity
To relativity

A SCIENCE NOTE
When time appears to be growing shorter, it’s often referred to as time compression or time dilation in a subjective sense. This can occur due to psychological factors, such as stress, age, or being highly focused, which makes time seem to pass more quickly. On a more cosmic scale, time dilation is a concept from Einstein’s theory of relativity, where time appears to slow down near massive objects or at high velocities.
