The Genesis Flood

The Genesis flood
God’s decision to return the universe to its pre-creation state of watery chaos and remake it through the terraforming of Noah’s ark.
… and God made a covenant with Noah that man would be allowed to eat every living thing but not its blood, and that God would never again destroy all life by a flood.

… each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward.

Amos 4:7
“I also withheld the rain from you when there were yet three months to the harvest; I would send rain on one city, and send no rain on another city; one field would have rain, and the field on which it did not rain would wither;

Isaiah 19:5-7
And the waters of the sea will be dried up, and the river will be dry and parched, and its canals will become foul

[Intro]

[Instrumental]
[Verse 1]
In the echoes of time, time, and time again
The same old story, is about to begin…
Oh, the waters rose, the earth to fold.
God’s decision made, to remake anew,
See if Man’s love would turn true.

[Break}

[Verse 2]
A covenant made, ‘twixt God and Man,
To walk the earth and understand
The damned demand of all of Man
Promising never to flood again.

[Chorus]
The Genesis Flood, a cleansing tide,
Washing us away, along for the ride
Terraforming the world, from chaos reborn,
In the wake of the waters, a new morn.

[Break]

[Drums]
[Sirens]
[Whistle]

[Bridge]
Amos’s words, withholding rain,
A lesson learned, from nature’s pain.
In the parched fields, the dry earth cries,
As waters recede ‘neath burning skies.

[Verse 3]
Isaiah’s vision, of rivers dry,
And seas laid bare ‘neath the blazing sky.
A world transformed by fire and flame,
Yet from the ashes, new life came.

[Faster]
[Break]
[Up Tempo]
Fire, fire, fire
Climbing higher
Higher

[Chorus]
The Genesis Flood, a cleansing tide,
Washing us away, along for the ride
Terraforming the world, from chaos reborn,
In the wake of the waters, a new morn.

[Outro]
Chaos reborn
A new morn
A new birth
On earth

[End]
[Silence]
